Spend a day in the 12th-13th century bastide villages of Fourcès, Montreal, Larressingle or Lavardens(10km) to name but a few. Visit the imposing cathedral inAuch, the capital of the Gers region. Going even further into past times: admire the Gallo roman mozaic remains at Seviac.Dont forget to visit the ancient abby of Flaran.

Experience ‘bull fighting’ and ‘Course Landaise’ (heifer running) in Estang, Eauze and Vic-Fezensac nearby.
This area has pasttimes to suit all tastes: Boating at Valence-sur-Baïse (20km), canoeing at Beaucaire (15km), horse riding nearby, walking (petit randonnées - Vic-Fezensac to Marambat),golf (18 holes) at Guinlet, Eauze (15 min by car), swimming at the lakes with sandy beaches, play areas or water sports for the more energetic.
The majestic mountains of the Pyrenees are accessable by car. Superb for walks and picnics in the summer, spectaclar scenery and of course good skiing during wintertime.
